seasonal haulin'

October, to me this is the month where i begin to think/plan out all thing to do with winter, & this year was no different.  Every quarter it's normal procedure for me to redecorate/reorganise my room to fit the coming season, & there's nothing i love more than preparing for winter, new bedding, new throws, new candles (well i buy candles all year long, but new scents!), new rugs, new everything! I, along everyone else i would imagine, love nothing more than to get super duper snuggly & cosy in winter, the onesies come out to play, the hot chocolate with all the toppings re-enter my life & the christmas markets come to town, a few of the many reasons winter is my favourite season.  Although we're early in October, the weather is dropping & the nights are drawing in, so i have begun my redecorating a little early perhaps, but i cannot say i mind too much! Interior design is something which i very much love! any chance to redesign a room i jump at the opportunty! So i thought i would show you some of the things i've picked up this last week, i am not near finished, & will probably show the finished result maybe early November, but i thought i'd give you guys a heads up incase like me, you're feeling a little winter loving & simply cannot wait much longer!

 1) IKEA Wire Rack - i purchased two in defferent sizes, & personally i think i'll be using these to store nail polish &/or jewellery!
  2) EBAY Metal Heart fairy lights - I currently have fitted wardrobes on two walls,so these will most likely be laid out at the top of them, or maybe outlining a mirror!
3) URBAN OUTFITTERS Zig-Zag Rug - i was split between this rug or a faux fur one, this won although i am kind of feeling the faux fur for winter!
4) IKEA Tealight Lanterns - Another lovely little find from Ikea! i purchased two, of which will probably be placed on a shelf & in the window!
  5) IKEA Storage Boxes - i purchased four of these, simply to store photographs, sunglasses & other little things that need a place!
6)IKEA candles - i love candles, so so much.
7) IKEA underbed storage - i purchased two of these, they're super large & i thought would be good for storing my kit, scrapbooks, all things makeup related basically.
8) IKEA curtains - now i haven't purchased these with the intention of using them for a window, i have all my heels placed on shelves, keeping them off the floor & looking swell, however because of how many i have, it sometimes looks a little cluttered & at the moment i'm very for minimalism, haha! So i purchased these with the intention of using them to cover my shoe shelves!

all this winter/christmas talk has put me in the mood for a hot beverage!

Norris, Nevada & me.

alright, so as this is my personal page, to do with whatever I please, I thought I would begin talking to you about the two glorious  loves of my life.. Norris & Nevada, or as they are known in my household as; 'Noz & Nev'!

Norris 'noz' nibbles

Norris is a blue eyed Lionlop boy, who came home in February, & as I am writing this is about 9 months old, he is the most gentle, sweetest bunny rabbit you will ever meet, I searched high & low to find him, & because I couldn't bare to be without him, ended up travelling 3 hours to get him! Norris is very much like a pooch, he will lick you for hours, beg to be stroked & will give paw for treats haha! he really is such a precious thing!

Nevada 'nev' nibbles
So now I will tell you about Nevada, she is a blue eyed double mane Lionhead & is currently around 4 months old.  She is the recent addition to the family,  she was delivered by courier because of the 8 hour drive between us, but I had been searching for a lady friend for Noz for quite some time, & had almost given up until I very luckily stumbled across her!  Now I must say she is nowhere near as loving as Noz, but being a girl I didn't expect that off her anyway, although Norris is teaching her well, she is now fully potty trained thanks to his guidance (proud mother moment) & every now & again she will come & give me a little lick, which makes it even more special knowing she isn't the sort of bunny to do that willy nilly.

My bunnies are house bunnies, (although we do have a large cage we do tend to keep them in if we're out for long periods of time!) & I feel very lucky to say they do not nibble or chew on anything they are not supposed to! It normally takes a while for bunnies to bond, but because of Norris' incredible temperament, they were free to roam with each other after only two days!

the first night Nevada came,
Norris wouldn't leave her carry case!
Bunny's are hard work, & I wouldn't recommend getting one if you know you cannot put the time & love that needs to go into the relationship to make it a wonderful one, luckily Noz & Nev are one of the family & are loved by all so although I do do most of the work, my whole family helps in looking after them!

I know people may be questioning my sanity because of my adoration for my rabbits, but I can honestly say, I would be absolutely heartbroken without them, they greet me in the morning, & they give me 'licks' goodnight,  I love them with every bone in my body, & I'm pretty sure they love me too!

are you pro bunny?? i bloomin hope so!
